Introduction: Welcome to the Crumbs
Dear Mama,
If you’re reading this blog, there’s a good chance you’re exhausted—physically, emotionally, maybe even spiritually. You may be surrounded by toys, dishes, diapers, and a million questions like “What’s for dinner?” or “Where are my shoes?” You may feel like the world has forgotten you somewhere between nap schedules and meal prep. Maybe you’ve even started to forget yourself.
I’ve been there.
This devotional was born from the middle of my mess—from the days I cried in the bathroom, whispered prayers into the silence, and begged God to remind me I wasn’t invisible. It came from the moments when all I had to offer Him were crumbs: a few hurried prayers, tired faith, and hands that never seemed to stop working. But here’s the beautiful truth: God met me there. Not after I had it all together. Not when I felt strong or holy or enough. Right there in the crumbs—He met me, healed me, and started putting me back together.
And He wants to meet you there too.
This blog devotional isn’t about doing more or being more. It’s not about being the “perfect” Christian mom. It’s about honesty. It’s about raw faith. It’s about finding grace when you feel empty and strength when you’re at the end of yourself. It’s about rediscovering the God who sees you, knows you, and delights in you—even in the chaos.
Each day, you’ll find a short reading, a scripture to anchor your heart, a prayer to help you breathe, and a journal prompt to go deeper. There’s no pressure to “keep up”—just an invitation to sit with Jesus, even for five quiet minutes while the kids nap or play.
Because, Mama, the crumbs are enough when they’re offered to a God who multiplies. And so are you.
With love,
Brittany
